Man Killed In Late Night Shooting

ST. LOUIS - A 34-year-old man was shot and killed late Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, in the Walnut Park West neighborhood, where homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances of the shooting.

Officers received a call for a shooting just before 11:40 p.m. Aug. 4 in the 5600 block of Hiller Place. When they arrived, they found the man on a porch suffering from gunshot wounds.

EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
