Fatal Pedestrian Struck Investigation Underway
EARTH CITY, Mo. — An adult male was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday night in the 13800 block of Rider Trail North in Earth City, where St. Louis County Police are investigating the fatal incident.

The deceased has been identified as Paul Roberts, 63 years of age, of the 500 block of South 2nd Street, St. Charles, MO. 63301.
St. Louis County Police officers from the Central County Precinct responded at approximately 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, to a call for service for a person struck. When officers arrived, they found an adult male who had been struck by a vehicle. He died at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
Detectives with the St. Louis County Police Bureau of Crimes Against Persons and Accident Reconstruction are investigating. Police said the investigation is active and preliminary details may change.
