Gabby Hurley Sparks Calhoun Sweep With 15 Straight Service Points
HARDIN - Calhoun opened with 15 consecutive service points from Gabby Hurley and never relinquished control, sweeping Griggsville-Perry 25-4, 25-11 at home last night for its sixth conference volleyball win of the season.

The victory improved Calhoun’s record to 14-4 overall.
Hurley’s opening run at the service line set the tone for a decisive first set. Calhoun maintained that momentum to close out the set 25-4.
The second set gave several players who typically receive limited playing time an opportunity to contribute. Calhoun continued to control the match, winning 25-11 to complete the sweep.
Hurley finished with six aces, while Riley Pohlman added four. Lilly Pelletier led the team with six kills, and Annie Wilson recorded five.
Calhoun returns to action Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, at Pleasant Hill before hosting North Greene on Sept. 30. Both are conference opponents. Calhoun also has a nonconference home match against Payson-Seymour scheduled for next week.
