From Jan. 1, 2023 to Dec. 31, 2024, Green allegedly committed multiple acts of sexual conduct with a victim who was 6 years old when the alleged abuse began and 8 years old when it reportedly ended.
Charging documents state Green was the victim’s caretaker at the time of the offenses, with him thereby holding a position of trust, authority or supervision in relation to the victim.
The Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office filed a petition to deny Green’s pretrial release from custody in this case. According to the petition, Green made sexual contact with the victim on multiple occasions while he was acting as a “temporary guardian” for the victim.
The charges against Green were unsealed on Oct. 8, 2026, just one day after being filed in Madison County court. The Alton Police Department presented the case against Green, who currently remains in custody at the Madison County Jail.
