Piasa Road Oil, LLC is hiring a seasonal operator to run a road oil distributor truck for municipal, county, and private projects across Southwestern Illinois.

Pay: $36.75/hour (after training)

What You’ll Do:
• Operate an asphalt distributor truck
• Apply liquid asphalt and emulsions
• Control spray rates and ensure consistent, professional application
• Work with crews on roadways, parking lots, and subdivisions

What to Expect:
• Operate equipment safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the truck and equipment
• Primarily weekday schedule (M–F), typically 30–50 hours/week (weather dependent)
• Occasional Saturday work as needed

Requirements:
Class B CDL required
Asphalt or equipment experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently

Work on real projects for municipalities, counties, commercial, and private jobs — not just small patch work.

Season runs Mid-May through Mid-September — limited openings
