Vintage 1970s Shin-Ei Companion 6TR Fuzz-Wah Pedal - Rare MIJ Model With Front Controls  

Selling a rare, vintage Shin-Ei Companion 6TR Fuzz-Wah guitar effects pedal from the 1970s.    This is an incredible piece of music history, made in Japan, known for its distinct 6-transistor circuit layout. It delivers a gritty, raw, and iconic retro buzzsaw fuzz tone alongside a classic vintage vocal wah sweep.  

Rare 6TR Front-Control Variant:     Unlike the more common 8TR variants that feature awkward knobs sticking out of the side, this 6TR model features all controls directly on the front metal faceplate. This layout makes it highly desirable for collectors and far more pedalboard-friendly for modern players.

* Volume Control: Master output level adjustment

* Fuzz Adj: Controls the amount of fuzz saturation

* Fuzz Tone Selector: Toggle switch between "Soft" and "Hard" clipping modes

* Fuzz Switch: Dedicated footswitch to engage the fuzz independent of the wah

* Original IO: Retains original side-mounted instrument and amplifier input/output jacks    

Condition:    Cosmetically, it shows authentic vintage wear, dust, and patina, giving it incredible character. The faceplate text is fully legible, and it retains its original style control knobs and side dress washers.
