Missouri Prairie Foundation Spring Plant Sale

The Missouri Prairie Foundation will hold a native plant sale on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at The Nature Institute, 2213 S. Levis Ln., Godfrey, IL 62035 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Native plants beautify landscapes and help support songbirds and other cherished wildlife. A wide variety of native wildflowers, grasses, shrubs, trees, vines, and sedges from Grow Native! professional members will be available for purchase at this sale. Some vendors accept cash, check, or credit cards\; some only cash or checks.

Vendors: Green Thumb Nursery, River City Natives, Sam’s Native Nursery, and The Nature Institute.

Shoppers can stroll through the sale and purchase plants from each vendor\; each vendor must be paid separately. “Early birds” who arrive prior to 10 a.m. will be asked to wait until the advertised start time to begin browsing product selections and making purchases.

Shoppers can also pre-order plants and have their orders ready for pick up at the event. When placing your pre-orders, please include your phone number and note that the order is for The Nature Institute sale on May 16. The following vendors are accepting pre-orders:

Some vendors accept cash, check, or credit cards\; some only cash or checks. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own crates or boxes for transporting their purchased plants home. Volunteers will be available to load plants into vehicles for those needing assistance.
