Baby in Bloom - Pop-Up Shower for Growing Families

Join us for a free event for new or soon-to-be parents to learn about infant safety and get support in planning a healthy pregnancy and transitioning into parenthood. Guests will have the opportunity to speak with health care professionals and learn what resources are available to support your childbirth journey.

The event will include:

• Information about childbirth and breastfeeding classes
• Information about lactation services and the supportive role of midwives and doulas
• Tours of the Family Care Birthing Center and information on Memorial Hospital's Level II E Special Care Nursery
• Expert insights on infant safety and safe sleep
• Information about car seat safety, instructions on how to properly install a car seat, and a Car Seat Safety Check
• Information on Memorial Hospital's OB Emergency Department, which was the first in the area
• Light breakfast will be available
