One-room School Reunion

Join the Jersey County Historical Society in the front of the museum for the 4th annual One-room School Reunion:

Planned activities include:

• A pictorial presentation of Jersey County’s one-room schools
• Abigail Wedig’s 2026 Cheney Mansion Scholarship-winning essay
• Tours of the historic one-room Lone Star School and plaza
• Copies of "Lunch Pails and Pigtails … Jersey County’s One-room School and the Students Who Attended Them" will be available for purchase.
