John Lynn: Rise of Main Street\, Illinois

Hayner Library at Alton Square Mall Performance Room Tuesday, July 7, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. John Lynn, named “the walking encyclopedia of Illinois” by WGN Radio, has photographed all 2,400 cities and towns in the state. He has also hiked, biked, and paddled historic and scenic trails, roads, and rivers in both America and Britain. His “Rise of Main Street, Illinois” program serves as a prequel to his “Main Street, Illinois” program.
