L’elisir d’amore presented by Union Avenue Opera

L’elisir d’amore? - Love, laughter, and a little magic. 

Donizetti’s sparkling romantic comedy follows the earnest Nemorino as he pins his hopes on a mysterious “love potion” to win the independent Adina. Overflowing with wit, charm, and irresistible melody,?L’elisir d’amore?delights from start to finish. The opera features one of the most famous arias ever written, “Una furtive lagrima,” alongside buoyant ensembles and playful musical surprises that celebrate love in all its awkward glory.

All performances take place at Union Avenue Opera’s home in Union Avenue Christian Church, 733 N. Union Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63108. Free parking is available behind the venue, with additional street parking nearby.
