Trails Closed to Hiking

Each year, The Nature Institute closes the trails to give the land a rest for the winter. This allows staff to perform any large maintenance projects without disturbing the enjoyment of hikers. It also gives the wildlife a chance to relax during their most stressful time trying to find food.

While the trails are closed to hiking, The Nature Institute is still open and offers programming throughout the winter.
