GRAFTON - The Grafton Country Music Festival invites the Riverbend community to enjoy a weekend of local bands in Grafton.
From Friday, Nov. 7 through Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, the City of Grafton will host several bands complete with contests, drink specials and more fun at their local bars. Mary Jo and Jan, members of the Grafton Chamber of Commerce, invite people to come out and enjoy the good vibes.
“Hopefully, the town will be hopping,” Mary Jo said. “Everybody in town kind of pulls together on these big events. Grafton is good for that.”
The fun kicks off from 7–11 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, with The Gusto playing at 3rd Chute Bar and Grill while The Tracy Inman Band plays simultaneously at Grafton Pub. At 8:30 p.m., you can show off your shoes for the Best Boots Contest at Grafton Pub.
On Saturday, Nov. 8, Kerry Lee plays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 3rd Chute, while Wolves of Lust take the stage from 12–3 p.m. at Grafton Pub. Left Handed Cowboy closes out the afternoon from 1–5 p.m. at Aerie’s and Tanglefoot does the same at The Loading Dock from 2–5 p.m.
Also on Saturday, the Outdoor Mainstage in the greenspace next to Grafton Pub will host the “Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy” Race at 2:30 p.m.
“It is what is sounds like,” Jan laughed. “The cowgirl will be on the cowboy’s back and they will be racing up the hill. And then we’re going to have a ‘Snuggle Up, Buttercup’ basket for the winner.”
Following the race, Russo & Co. will perform from 3–7 p.m. at the Outdoor Mainstage, supported by Jesse Vaughn. This performance is sponsored by Grafton Pub, 3rd Chute and Bobby G’s. Mary Jo encourages people to bring lawnchairs and blankets to enjoy the music, though coolers aren’t allowed; support local this weekend by enjoying a drink or bite from one of the participating bars and restaurants.
The One Last Hoedown Sunset Cruise from 3–5 p.m., starting at the Grafton Harbor Marina, is perfect for folks of all ages. This river cruise promises “majestic” sights of the fall leaves on the river.
Back on land, 3rd Chute will run a karaoke contest from 6–11 p.m. Bobby G’s will host a lasso roping contest at 7 p.m.
Meanwhile, Outlaw Opry performs from 7–11 p.m. at Grafton Pub while Billy Hurst plays at Drifters from 7–11 p.m. and Kerry Lee takes the stage from 7–10 p.m. at The Bloody Bucket Saloon. Mr. and Mrs. Grafton Country Music Festival will be crowned at 8:30 p.m. at Grafton Pub.
The fun continues into Sunday, Nov. 9, with Midwest Avenue kicking off the morning from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Grafton Pub. Haulin Oats will perform from 1–4 p.m. at The Loading Dock, and Carl Mager will go on from 1–5 p.m. at Aerie’s Resort.
This will be followed by Jake Weber & The Lonesome Drifters from 3–7 p.m. at the Outdoor Mainstage and the Best Cowboy Hat Contest at 5:30 p.m. at Grafton Pub.
Mary Jo and Jan thanked the sponsors and participating locations, including Grafton Pub, 3rd Chute, Bobby G’s, The Loading Dock, Aerie’s Resort, Grafton Harbor, Drifters, and Ben Allen’s Bloody Bucket Saloon.
