JERSEYVILLE — Paul D. Burrows served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from 1973 to 1979, including time at the Marine Barracks Pearl Harbor Fleet Intelligence Center, Pacific.
A native of Jerseyville, Burrows earned the National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and Armed Forces Humanitarian Service Medal during his service.
Burrows’ military career reflects his commitment to the Corps, as encapsulated in his message: “Semper Fidelis.” The phrase, meaning “Always Faithful,” is the Marine Corps motto and symbolizes loyalty and dedication.
