Sparklight Female Athletes Of The Month For Jersey: Four Volleyball Players Honored For Efforts

JERSEYVILLE — Four players from Jersey’s girls volleyball team were recently named to the Mississippi Valley All-Conference squad, recognizing their standout performances during the 2025 season.

The honorees — Adrian Blasa, Meredith Gray, Hope Buttry, and Grace Russell — were also named Sparklight Female Athletes of the Month for Jersey.

Blasa and Gray earned first-team all-conference honors, while Buttry and Russell received honorable mention selections.

The players posted notable statistics throughout the season: Buttry and Gray recorded 171 and 170 kills, respectively; Russell had 390 receptions; Blasa contributed 571 assists; Russell added 262 digs; and Gray tallied 43 blocks.

Jersey concluded the 2025 season with a 17-15 overall record.
