Our Daily Show Interview! North Pole Elf Hotline: Help Support Got Faith?!
JERSEYVILLE - You can share the magic of Christmas with your little ones while helping a local nonprofit.
Starting on Thursday, Nov. 27, through Dec. 26, 2025, the North Pole Elf Hotline invites kids to call into the hotline every day for an updated message about what’s happening in the North Pole. If you use a special link to sign up, a portion of proceeds will go to Got Faith? Ministry in Jerseyville.
“I am ridiculously excited for the kids to have this magic,” said Lisa Unverzagt, who conceptualized the hotline. “It’s a great, stress-free way for parents to continue to have that Christmas magic, and you don’t have to do anything.”
Unverzagt explained that she previously operated the North Pole Elf Hotline for her grandkids, but this year, she decided to expand the hotline and make it available to all. Every day, your child can call into the hotline to receive an update from the North Pole, hearing from characters like Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Comet Jr. and more.
In addition to spreading holiday joy, the hotline encourages kids to stay on the nice list by completing acts of kindness.
“We also have Operation Christmas Cheer. That’s a very special mission. It’s where the kids themselves work with our elves to create Christmas cheer in their own home,” Unverzagt explained. “This is exciting North Pole news, but it also teaches the kids about being kind, being sweet. It is all about everything magical in one phone call.”
The North Pole Elf Hotline includes a kit for kids and their grown-ups to create gift tags, letters to Santa, and more. Unverzagt believes it’s a great experience for families to enjoy together.
You can choose between two options for $19.99 or $39.99 for 30 days of phone calls. If you sign up using this link, a percentage of your purchase will go to Got Faith? Ministry in Jerseyville.
Helmed by Steve Pegram, also known as Jersey County’s official Santa Claus, Got Faith? Ministry provides a food pantry, clothes closet, and several other programs for community members in Jerseyville and beyond. For more information about Got Faith?, including how to receive assistance or how to support them, visit their official website at GotFaithOnline.org.
Above all, Unverzagt and Pegram hope to spread holiday cheer through the North Pole Elf Hotline. They encourage people to sign up via the Got Faith? Ministry link to support the local nonprofit, and they look forward to kicking off the hotline on Thanksgiving night.
“Not only is it magical for the kids, but it’s magical because we are giving back to Got Faith? Ministry in such a way that we can continue to help support them. It’s really just as magical for Got Faith? and the families that they serve,” Unverzagt added. “I am telling you, there is nothing more magical than to see those kids, those faces light up because they just heard from one of Santa’s very important people at the North Pole.”
