ALTON - Old Bakery Beer Company has several vendor markets and specials planned for the next few weeks.
From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every Saturday starting on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, until Christmas, you can stop by Old Bakery Beer Company to browse vendors at the Holiday Cheers Market. These markets will host nearly 25 new vendors every week.
“The vendors rotate throughout the season, so we represent almost 100 vendors throughout the season,” said Lauren, OBB owner. “The Green Gift Bazaar, unfortunately, was canceled this year, so we were able to kind of make a home for some of those vendors. Some of the favorites that people might have shopped with at the Green Gift Bazaar over the years will be at the Holiday Cheers Market on Saturdays.”
OBB hosts a variety of vendor markets throughout the year. For more information about how to become a vendor at one of their upcoming markets, click here.
In addition to the Holiday Cheers Markets, OBB holds their Drink for a Cause night every month to support a local nonprofit. On Dec. 18, 2025, you can support Crisis Food Center. Customers will also be able to round up at the register throughout the month of December for the food pantry.
The brewery is decorated for the holidays, and their event space is open for parties year-round with special holiday deals available through January. Lauren encourages people to call now if you want to rent the space.
“It’s decked out this year, so it’s already looking festive,” she said. “You have to do very little work. We’ll handle it. We’ll handle the drinks. It’s decorated for you. We have a great holiday catering menu with some extended options and we have reduced pricing on the room fee itself for the holidays, so all of the holiday packages go through January.”
She added that OBB has a new winter menu out now, with favorites like peppermint porter and the rosemary-heavy tannenbaum. They also have a variety of holiday cocktails including a gingersnap old fashioned and a Christmas punch.
Fuddle Duddle Coffee, which roasts beans at OBB, offers peppermint and gingersnap lattes throughout the winter months. There is also Fuddle Duddle coffee included in the new Cat Café beer. For a full list of food and drink options at OBB, click here.
Looking ahead, Lauren can’t wait to share more of OBB’s holiday treats and traditions with the community. She encourages people to stop by and give them a try, or visit the official Old Bakery Beer Company website at OldBakeryBeer.com for more information.
