On Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, NAGBC hosted the Breakfast With Santa event to spread holiday cheer and bring families together. Johnson served as the event’s main entertainer, and he noted his excitement to perform in front of the many families who were in attendance.

“It’s a family event,” he explained. “I love just seeing the joy and the fun that all the kids have and the parents getting into it. Everyone comes together. It’s a great way to kick off the holiday season in this area and get filled with the holiday spirit.”

Johnson joked that his shows contain “hopefully not too much craziness, but just the right amount.” He emphasized that the goal is to entertain the kids and make sure they all have “a lot of fun.”

Johnson is based locally, but he regularly performs magic across the country. He has performed in every state and the Caribbean. He started practicing magic as a child and quickly developed a love for it.

“I gave my first public show when I was 9 years old. I’ve been doing magic well over 50 years,” he shared. “I can’t believe I’m still upright.”

Johnson usually collaborates with fellow magician Professor Longhair. They regularly showcase their skills across the Midwest in their Magical Mayhem Show. While the show follows a basic outline, each performance is special. During the Breakfast With Santa performance, for example, all of Johnson’s skits were Christmas-themed.

“Every show is customized for the event to make sure it works as best as possible. It’s exactly what they want so everyone has the most fun,” he added. “Give us a shout.”
