
EDWARDSVILLE - Metro-East Lutheran High School’s girls bowling team earned recognition at the recent Gateway Metro Conference Bowling Tournament, held earlier this month.
The MELHS' strong performance was highlighted by individual honors for several players.

Katie Albrecht and Dani Spann were named to the First Team All-Conference, with Spann achieving the highest girls' score of the day. Both Spann and teammate Charlotte Smith set career-best match scores during the tournament. Additionally, Emma Gusewelle and Kacy Gearns received Honorable Mention All-Conference recognition.
The girls' bowling team is recognized with the BJ's Printables, Female Athletes of the Month for MELHS.
The achievements reflect the team’s dedication and skill throughout the competition. Metro-East Lutheran’s girls bowling team continues to build on its success in the Gateway Metro Conference and overall in other play.
