BOYS BASKETBALL
COLLINSVILLE 46. SPRINGFIELD LANPHIER 43: As the regular season resumed after the Holidays, Collinsville led at halftime 26-14, but Lanphier rallied in the third quarter to go ahead 33-31. The Kahoks put on a rally of their own, and outscored the Lions in the final quarter 15-10 to win at Vergil Fletcher Gym.
Jace Wilkinson led Collinsville with 18 points, while Jordan Taylor added 12 points.
The Kahoks are now 7-9, while Lanphier goes to 5-9.
O'FALLON 62, TRENTON WESCLIN 50: O'Fallon led at the break 18-13, but outscored Wesclin in an explosive second half 44-37 to take the win at the OTHS Panther Dome.
Jayden Dancy led the Panthers with 16 points, while Eddy Jackson came up with 15 points, and Ben Akoro hit for 11 points.
O'Fallon is now 5-11, while the Warriors slip to 12-4.
EAST ST. LOUIS 91, ST. LOUIS LIFT FOR LIFE ACADEMY 61: In a shootout held Friday at Harris-Stowe State University in St. Louis, East St. Louis went out to a 46-25 halftime lead, then outscored Lift For Life in the final quarter 29-21 to win over the St. Louis charter school.
Jamison White led the Flyers with 23 points, while Alex Johnson hit for 19 points, Terri'yon Webster scored 13 points, and O. Watson had 12 points.
After a Saturday win at Columbia, Mo. East Side is now 13-1, while the Hawks go to 5-4.
WHITE HALL NORTH GREENE 62, GILLESPIE 34: In another game played on Friday, North Greene doubled up on Gillespie at halftime 24-12, and went on the home win over the Miners.
Jase Goben and Luke Farris led the Spartans with 14 points each, while Porter Dosset had 13 points, and Kendall Stepp scored 10 points
North Greene is now 4-7, while Gillespie is now 0-13.
In other games played on Saturday, Marissa-Coulterville won at East Alton-Wood River 64-58 in overtime, Mt. Olive got past Lebanon 56-50, Pinckneyville won at Waterloo Gibault Catholic 71-42, Mt. Vernon won over Cahokia on the road 58-42, and Breese Central won over Freeburg 65-42.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
JACKSONVILLE 38, BELLEVILLE WEST 27: Jacksonville led at halftime 20-10, and went on to win over West at the Jacksonville Bowl.
Josie Coughlin led the Maroons with six points, while both ChiYira Wilson and Toni Powe had four points each.
The Crimsons are now 3-11, while West is now 4-9.
FATHER MCGIVNEY CATHOLIC 47, TRENTON WESCLIN 19: McGivney shut out Wesclin in the opening quarter 18-0, led at the half 23-5, and went on to win at the Griffins Lair.
Zoie Oller led the Griffins with 11 points, while Elle Willenborg added nine points.
McGivney is now 13-4, while the Warriors go to 10-5.
In other games played on Saturday, Belleville East went to 15-1 with a 64-50 win over Lutheran St. Charles, Mo. in a shootout at Harris-Stowe State, Breese Central won over Mt. Vernon 69-24, Marissa-Coulterville defeated Maryville Christian 60-41, and Carbondale won at Waterloo 56-47.

In a tournament game played on Tuesday night, Concord Triopia won over Carrollton 48-44. In games played on Friday night, New Athens defeated Valmeyer 70-58, and Hardin Calhoun got past Mt. Sterling Brown County 62-54.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
GLASFORD ILLINI BLUFFS 42, CARROLLTON 29: In a game played Tuesday in a Holiday tournament, Carrollton took a 22-14 lead at halftime, but Illini Bluffs rallied to outscore the Hawks in the second half 20-15, including 13-2 in the final quarter, to take the win.
Hayden McMurtrie led Carrollton with eight points, while both Blake Driskill and Chloe McAdams had six points each.
The Tigers are now 14-2, while the Hawks go to 12-4.
