The January Block Party for Good will once again transform The Alton Soulcial Square into a hub of care, connection, and community support, bringing together trusted partners to bless our precious neighbors in need. The event will feature:
St. Louis Area Foodbank’s Food on the Move Free Grocery Trailer, providing fresh, nutritious groceries at no cost to families and individuals
OSF HealthCare Community Outreach Teams, offering free health information, navigation support, and access to a medical access mobile van
Award-Winning Big Meechie Food Truck, serving free, chef-prepared meals with warmth, dignity, and love
“This is what community looks like when we show up together,” said Brig. Gen. (Ret.) John E. Michel, Founder and President of Soulcial Kitchen. “This Block Party for Good, our 18th in Alton, is about meeting people where they are and reminding them they are seen, valued, and loved.”
