The Open House offers families an opportunity to tour the school, meet faculty and staff, learn about academic programs, and explore how Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School nurtures the whole child through faith, learning, and community. The event and the school are open to families of all faith traditions and will be catered by Big Mama’s BBQ.
The Open House also marks an exciting moment of transition and growth, as the school welcomes its new principal, Kenneth Nance Jr.
Under his leadership, the school continues its commitment to put families first and to “Ignite Excellence” through academic achievement, faith formation, and opportunity for students in and beyond East St. Louis.
“As the last Catholic school in East St. Louis, we remain a vital anchor for families seeking a values-centered education rooted in faith, high expectations, and care for the whole child,” shares Principal Nance. “Our Open House is a chance to experience that mission firsthand.”
