WHITE HALL - Southwestern’s boys basketball team edged North Greene 55-49 in a close encounter on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, at White Hall.
Trenton Brackett paced the Piasa Birds with 12 points, Connor Wood and Cason Robinson had 11 points, Carter Watson added 10 points, and Carter Bacon had 6 points. Reed Campbell added 5 points for the Piasa Birds.

Porter Dossett and Kenyan Stepp had 11 points apiece for the Spartans, while Jase Goben and Luke Farris added 9 points each and Lucas Tanner 2 points.
North Greene led 14-10 at the end of one, but the Birds rallied in the second quarter, outscoring the Spartans 10-2. North Greene came back in the third quarter and outscored Southwestern 23-15. The score at the end of three was North Greene ahead of Southwestern 39-35.
Southwestern dominated the fourth period with a 20-10 scoring effort to win the game 55-49.
Southwestern evens its record at 11-11 with the win, and the Spartans fall to 4-13.
Southwestern hosts Pana on Friday night.
