Suspect Arrested Quickly After Caseyville Armed Robbery

Caseyville Police officers responded to the BP station located at 2 Rauckman Drive in Caseyville following a report of an armed robbery. After investigating, they identified Mays as the suspect and took him into custody at a residence in Washington Park.

The case was presented to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office on Thursday, Jan. 22, and Mays was formally charged with robbery.

Mays is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
