CARROLLTON — Carrollton High School is set to host its annual career fair on Feb. 18, 2026, in the school gymnasium, organizers announced in a recent invitation to local businesses and community members.
The event, coordinated by Blaine Hartwick, agriculture teacher and FFA advisor, along with Jenna Heck from the business department and Cory Clendenen from industrial arts, aims to connect students with a variety of career opportunities available in Carrollton and nearby areas.

The fair will also provide employers with the chance to meet potential part-time, summer, or future full-time employees.
Hartwick said the goals are to show off the different careers that can be found "in our community or a short drive away, as well as for those of you who are looking for potential employees to have a chance to interact with and recruit our students for part-time help, summer work, or as future employees.”
The event will begin with setup at 8:15 a.m. on Feb. 18, followed by student visits starting at 9 a.m. Exhibitors will be provided lunch from 11:05 to 11:35 a.m., with the fair concluding around 1:45 p.m. Each business will receive a table for displays, and interactive elements such as simulators, games, and models are encouraged.
Organizers emphasized the importance of the fair in helping students develop social skills by engaging with professionals.
“Even in a small community such as ours, we are lucky to have a vast diversity of career choices for our students should they decide that they want to remain a part of our community upon completing their education,” Hartwick said.
Businesses interested in participating are asked to confirm attendance by Feb. 11 by emailing bhartwick@c-hawks.org. Respondents should indicate the number of attendees for lunch and specify any needs such as proximity to power sources or chairs at their table. If no response is received by February 5, a formal invitation will be mailed to reduce postage costs.
The Carrollton Career and Technical Education Department encourages local employers to take part in this event to foster connections between students and the workforce.
