20 Wins Under Coach Medford: Chase and Carson Jones Propel Explorers To Victory

Despite solid efforts from Brady Bishop and Dominic Boyd, Metro East Lutheran could not overcome Marquette.

EDWARDSVILLE — Marquette Catholic reached the 20-win mark Tuesday night, using a balanced scoring effort to beat Metro East Lutheran High School 55-39 at MELHS.

The win on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, gave Marquette 20 victories this season under head coach Steve Medford. Chase Jones led Marquette with 11 points, while Carson Jones added 10. Cam Golike scored seven points and Nolan Robinson finished with six.

Metro East Lutheran was led by Brady Bishop with nine points. Dominic Boyd scored eight, and Landyn Jefferson and Kaleb Turney each had seven points.

Marquette is scheduled to host Calhoun on Wednesday, Feb. 11. Marquette also hosts Civic Memorial on Feb. 17 and closes the regular season at home against Gibault Catholic on Feb. 19.

Metro East Lutheran is set to host Breese Mater Dei on Thursday, Feb. 12, and Althoff Catholic on Friday, Feb. 13.
