Don't miss our top stories and need-to-know news everyday in your inbox.
From 12–3 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, Walnut Hall will host their fourth annual free Wedding Market complete with vendors, a bar, giveaways and more fun. Organizers are still accepting vendors who want to showcase their products, and they are eager to give couples tours of the Walnut Hall wedding venue. But even if you aren’t getting married at Walnut Hall or at all, organizer Paige Foster promises it will still be a fun day.
“It's a great time for couples to see what our venue has to offer, get to know some of the vendors that we have, and just hang out and have fun,” she said. “We just try to keep it fun.”
So far, the Wedding Market will include photographers, dessert vendors, hair and makeup experts, and other wedding professionals who can make your special day even more exciting. For a full list of vendors, visit the official Facebook event page. If you would like to become a vendor, you can reach out to Walnut Hall and find out more.
Foster noted that most of the vendors are local, and the market is an opportunity for couples to meet with vendors in a “non-formal setting” with “no pressure.” She hopes the market allows vendors to connect with potential customers while sharing more about their work.
“We always try to get local vendors first, obviously, because we want to support our community. But we also venture out. We have people coming from Springfield, St. Louis. We always love supporting the community when we can,” she said. “The more vendors, the better, because that's just more variety for anybody that's coming. And we always encourage vendors to come and sell their goods and services, because we want it to be as beneficial for them as it is for us.”
Couples can tour the Walnut Hall Estate property, which is known throughout the region as a prime wedding venue. Foster explained that couples rent the venue from Friday to Sunday, and they can access two houses that sleep 26 people, the reception hall that holds 500, and 12 acres of “beautiful” property, perfect for photos and outdoor ceremonies.
But even if you aren’t getting married at Walnut Hall, Foster noted that the Wedding Market is a great opportunity to connect with local vendors and get a feel for the opportunities around Carrollton. Additionally, their bar and a flower bar will be available, and people are invited to tour the property.
There will also be three major giveaways. If you collect a stamp from every vendor on your punch card, you will be entered for the chance to win a gift bag with champagne, cheesecake, vendor products and other “really good goodies,” Foster promised. You must be present to win.
As the Wedding Market approaches, Foster hopes to welcome people from across the region to Walnut Hall to connect with vendors, tour the venue, and engage with the Walnut Hall mission: to provide magical wedding experiences. She encourages vendors to inquire now about joining the market, and she looks forward to meeting more couples and community members.
“We love talking to everyone and getting to see all of our couples’ faces and new ones,” she added. “Each year, we try to tailor the market more to what people are saying and giving us feedback. And we always love to hear how they've enjoyed it, or maybe who we can add next year for vendors and things like that. We love it.”
