GODFREY – Lewis and Clark Community College invites prospective students and their families to explore all the college has to offer during its upcoming Discover Day Open House, Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, from 3-5 p.m.

The event will take place in The Commons on the college’s Godfrey Campus and offers an inside look at why so many students choose L&C as the first step in their higher education journey.

Guests can connect with faculty and staff, explore career and transfer pathways, and experience the energy of student life at Lewis and Clark. Advisors, admissions representatives and current students will be available to answer questions and help prospective students map out their next steps.

“Discover Day gives students the opportunity to explore career options and see how Lewis and Clark can support them in reaching their goals,” said Vice President of Student Affairs Cherise Jackson.

Representatives will be on hand to discuss programs in healthcare, technology, business and more. With nearly 40 degree and certificate programs, L&C provides pathways designed to launch students into the workforce or seamlessly transfer to a four-year institution.

Discover Day also highlights campus life beyond the classroom. Attendees can meet current students, learn about clubs and organizations, enjoy free snacks and participate in guided campus tours throughout the event.

“Students who get involved on campus tend to have stronger academic and social outcomes,” said L&C Recruiter Kimberly Hausman. “We strive to create a welcoming environment where students can grow, connect and make the most of their college experience.”

Discover Day is held twice each year on Presidents Day and Indigenous Peoples’ Day, when area school districts are closed. L&C remains open to make it easier for families to attend without missing school or work.

Pre-registration is encouraged to help the college best serve guests. Register at https://www.lc.edu/admissions/tour-campus/discover-day.html

Summer 2026 enrollment will open the same day, with Fall 2026 enrollment opening in mid-March. Returning and current students may register in person, online or by phone once registration opens. Visit https://www.lc.edu/enrollment-registration/ for more information.
