Lane Eilerman Leads Calhoun To Dominant 69-53 Win With 26-Point Scoring Outburst

Eilerman’s explosive performance helped Calhoun overturn Carrollton’s early lead and maintain control through a strong second and third quarter.

HARDIN - Lane Eilerman exploded for 26 points, and Jack Zipprich added 12 points in a 69-53 boys basketball triumph over Carrollton at Calhoun on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026.

Charlie Stumpf had 15 points for Carrollton, and Carter Randolph and Andrew Price each had 11 points.

Jacob Brannan had 9 points for the Warriors, and Rodney Johnson and Blake Nolte added 7 points apiece. Charlie Matthews and Jack Goode had 3 points for Calhoun. Buddy Holmes had 8 points for the Hawks, Wyatt Ross and Eli Rhoades each added 4 points apiece.

Carrollton took an early 17-12 lead at the end of the first quarter, but Calhoun rallied in the second quarter to outscore Carrollton 25-14 and 21-9 in the third quarter. Carrollton tallied 13 points to Calhoun's 11 in the final period for the 69-53 score.

Calhoun has a busy week next week with a game at Routt Catholic on Feb. 16, at Pittsfield on Feb. 17. On Feb. 19, Calhoun hosts Griggsville-Perry, and on Feb. 20, entertains Roxana and closes its regular season with a contest on Feb. 21 at home against Illini West.

Carrollton finishes its regular season with games on the road against Bunker Hill on Feb. 16 and at home against Brown County on Feb. 18.

Calhoun has a 22-3 record going into the final week of the regular season.
