JERSEYVILLE – Anna Kribs is a hard working student-athlete.
For her positive attitude and strong work ethic, Kribs has been chosen as a February 2026 Medford Wealth Management Student of the Month for Jersey Community High School.

As a junior at JCHS, Kribs is a High Honor Roll student and multi-sport athlete who has been involved in tennis for the past two years, as well as basketball and softball for the past three years. She also practices her athletic talents outside of school as part of a travel softball team and travel basketball team.
In her spare time, Kribs said she enjoys painting and going on runs during the summer. While her exact field of study after graduation is undecided for now, she does plan to attend a four-year university.
“Anna has great work ethic and always strives to do her best in and out of the classroom as a top notch student and athlete,” Science Teacher Darren Perdun said.
“Anna is hard-worker and a great teammate,” JCHS Tennis Coach Dan Diamond said. “She was an IHSA state qualifier this year and I look forward to her having a fantastic senior season next year.”
JCHS Principal Thomas Leslie added: “What stands out most to me about Anna is her positive attitude. The girl is always smiling and encouraging others. Her personality is infectious and we are lucky to have her as a leader at JCHS!”
