MONDAY'S RESULTS

In a trio of games played Monday, Jacksonville Routt Catholic got past Hardin Calhoun 61-51, Carrollton bounced past Bunker Hill 75-55, and White Hall North Greene won at Mt. Olive 64-26.

TUESDAY'S RESULTS

BELLEVILLE WEST 57, EAST ST. LOUIS 56: In a surprise result, West prevented newly crowned Southwestern Conference champions East St. Louis from going perfect in the league with a win at home.

Philip Jones led the Flyers with 21 points, while Alex Johnson came up with 10 points.

The Maroons are now 20-9, while East Side goes to 25-4.

COLLINSVILLE 61 CAHOKIA 32: Collinsville led at the break 38-16, and went on to win over Cahokia at Vergil Fletcher Gym.

Jace Wilkinson led the way for the Kahoks with 21 points, while DeAndre Brown hit for 14 points, and Jordan Taylor scored 10 points. Taven Miller led the Comanches with eight points, while Jaylen Ward added six points.

Collinsville is now 13-15, while Cahokia goes to 6-18.

ALTON 64, O'FALLON 47: Alton took a Southwestern Conference win on the road over O'Fallon at the OTHS Panther Dome.

Ben Akoro was the top scorer for the Panthers with 20 points, while Bryce Nolden came up with nine points.

The Redbirds are now 18-11, while O'Fallon goes to 8-20.

COLUMBIA 49, FREEBURG 41: In a backyard rivalry game, Columbia held a 3-19 lead at halftime, then went on to win over Freeburg on the road.

Brody Landgraf led the Eagles with 14 points, while Eddie Smajic had 11 points, and Kyle Chubb scored 10 points.

Columbia is now 22-8, while the Midgets go to 10-17.

PAWNEE 51, WHITE HALL NORTH GREENE 42: Pawnee led at the half 28-18, and went on to win over North Greene on the road.

Lucas Turner led the Spartans with 21 points, while Boen Barry scored seven points.

The Indians are now 17-12, while North Green goes to 6-20.

LITCHFIELD 63, CARLINVILLE 47: Litchfield led at halftime 26-15, and never relinquished the lead in winning the South Central Conference game over visiting Carlinville.

Both Tate Duckles and Sawyer Smith led the Cavaliers with 20 points each, while Tristan Thompson had five points.

The Purple Panthers are now 14-16, while Carlinville slips to 17-12.

In other games played on Tuesday, Edwardsville won at the buzzer over Belleville East 47-45, Sparta defeated Red Bud 88-63, Marquette Catholic won over visiting Civic Memorial 46-31, Belleville Althoff Catholic got past Highland 69-59, Waterloo Gibault Catholic won the city title over Waterloo 40-39, Breese Central won at East Alton-Wood River 71-22, Trenton Wesclin topped Chester 65-51, New Athens stopped Marissa-Coulterville 80-65, Roxana held off Salem on the road 57-51, Okawville upended Carlyle 63-42, and St. Louis Lift For Life Academy won at Granite City 52-48.

IHSA PLAYOFFS --- REGIONAL SEMIFINALS

MONDAY'S RESULTS

CLASS 1A

In IHSA regional semifinal games played on Monday, at Sandoval, Marissa-Coulterville eliminated Sparta 65-39, and Carlyle won over Maryville Christian 56-42. Over at Waterloo Gibault Catholic, Okawville won over New Athens 53-21, and the host Hawks eliminated Campbell Hill Trico 40=37.

BREESE CENTRAL 66, COLUMBIA 18: In the Breese Central regional, the host Cougars raced out to a 26-3 first-quarter lead, held a 34-11 advantage at the half, and went on to the big win over Columbia.

Lillie Prater led the Eagles with eight points, while Riley Bahr had six points.

Central is now 26-3, and goes to the final on Thursday against Breese Mater Dei Catholic, who eliminated Trenton Wesclin 50-21, in a 7 p.m. tip-off. Columbia's season ends at 15-15, while the Knights are now 17-11, and the Warriors finish at 19-12.

NASHVILLE 64, BELLEVILLE ALTHOFF CATHOLIC 21: Nashville led at halftime 41-11, and went on to eliminate Althoff at the Freeburg regional.

Gabby Dalke led the Crusaders with eight points, while Reece Distler scored six points.

The Hornets are now 29-2, and go on to the final Thursday night at 7 p.m. against the host Midgets, a 54-41 winner over Pinckneyville. Althoff ends its season at 11-19, while Freeburg is now 24-8, while the Panthers wind up at 23-8.

In the Roxana regional, Marquette Catholic's free throw shooting made the difference, as the Explorers eliminated the host Shells 35-31, and Gillespie eliminated Carlinville 51-45, Marquette is now 18-11. and the Miners are now 17-13, and will play each other in the final Thursday at 6 p.m. Roxana's season ends at 17-15, while the Cavaliers conclude their season at 15-18.

CLASS 3A

SATURDAY'S RESULT

EAST ST. LOUIS 66, CAHOKIA 13: In a play-in game at the Centralia regional, East St. Louis 33-8, and went on to the win to eliminate Cahokia.

Javonni Winters led the Flyers with 20 points, while Lynajah Smith added 11 points.

The Comanches finish their season 3-28.

MONDAY'S RESULT

MARION 61, EAST ST. LOUIS 28: In the semifinals at Arthur L. Trout Gym, Marion led at the half 46-12, outscoring the Flyers in the first quarter 30-3, and eliminated East Side.

Areeuna Munson led the Flyers with 12 points, with Smith adding 10 points.

The Wildcats are now 23-4, and go to Thursday's final against the Orphan Annies, who won over Mt. Vernon 51-47, in a game starting at 6 p.m. East St. Lois ends its season at 3-23.

CLASS 4A

BELLEVILLE EAST 60, GRANITE CITY 23: In the semifinals at Belleville West, East led Granite City 42-11 at halftime, and went on to end the Warriors' resurgent season and advance to the final at the West gym.

Vanessa Stacy led the Lancers with 13 points, while both Denaya Bartelheim and Paulette Mellinder had eight points each. Jailynn Rae Woods led Granite with nine points, while Malone Grady came up with five points.

East is now 25-5, while the Warriors' remarkable season ends at 21-10.

O'FALLON 57, PEKIN 39: In the second semifinal, the host Panthers doubled up on Pekin at the half 26-13, and went on to win to face the Lancers in the final.

Josie Christopher led the way for O'Fallon with 23 points, while Kayla Kalmer had 13 points, and Sasha Kelley hit for 11 points.

O'Fallon goes to 22-9, and meets East in the final Thursday night at 6 p.m. The Dragons end their season at 15-16.

In the Edwardsville regional semifinals, the host Tigers got a last-second free throw to take a come-from-behind 50-49 win over Quincy, while Alton eliminated Collinsville 50-18. Edwardsville and Alton meet to decide the regional champions on Friday at 6 p.m.

TUESDAY'S RESULTS

CLASS 1A

In the semifinals of the Greenfield Northwestern regional, Carrollton eliminated Kincaid South Fork 73-31, while Nokomis eliminated the host Tigers 62-35. The Hawks are now 19-9, while the Redskins are 23-7, and play for the regional title Thursday night at 7 p.m. The Ponies end the year at 10-19, while Greenfield ends its season at 16-17.

In the semifinals at Winchester West Central, the host Cougars knocked out Barry Western 52-19, while Concord Triopia eliminated Hardin Calhoun 46-30. West Central; 24-8, while the Trojans improve to 19-10. and meet in the final Friday night at 6 p.m. The Wildcats end the season at 11-22, and the Warriors finish up at 12-20.

CLASS 3A

In the Highland regional semifinals, the host Bulldogs defeated Springfield 51-45, and will play in the final against Chatham Glenwood, who defeated Jacksonville 57-13, Thursday night at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs are now 19-13. while the Titans go to 25-4. The Senators end their season 20-10, and the Crimsons finish up at 4-25.

In the Quincy Notre Dame Catholic regional, Civic Memorial defeated Jersey 54-47, and go to the final Thursday night against the host Raiders, a 70-35 winner over Springfield Southeast. In the Carbondale regional, Triad eliminated Mascoutah 42-18, and the host Terriers won over Waterloo 49-41. The Knights are now 19-11, while Carbondale is now 22-10, and play in the final Thursday at 6 p.m. The Bulldogs finish up at 13-18, while the Indians conclude at 8-20.
