Man Dies in Early Morning Two-Vehicle Crash

One man died and two others were hospitalized after a southbound car lost control and struck another vehicle on Kingston Drive.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY - St. Louis County police are investigating a crash near Kingston Drive and Geneva Drive in south St. Louis County that killed an adult man and sent two others to the hospital Thursday morning, Feb. 19, 2026.

Officers from the St. Louis County Police South County Precinct responded at 7:44 a.m. Feb. 19, 2026, and found two vehicles involved, according to the St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons and Accident Reconstruction detectives.

The deceased has been identified as Douglas Earvin, 46 years of age, of the 3100 block of Alpen Rose Court in St. Louis, Missouri, 63125.

A preliminary investigation indicates Vehicle 1 was traveling southbound on Kingston Drive when it lost control and struck another vehicle. The driver of Vehicle 1, an adult male, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A passenger in Vehicle 1, also an adult male, was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of Vehicle 2, a female, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
