Carver, a senior, has played on the girls soccer team since her freshman year. She also enjoys playing softball. It takes a lot of commitment to balance academics and athletics, but Carver does so with grace.

As a natural leader, Carver decided to serve on the Student Council so she can represent and advocate for her peers. She also helps with the yearbook, and she has enjoyed her time with the Highland Hooligans Spirit Club.

Carver is most proud of her invitation to a leadership program through OS Impact. At this conference, she learned about mental health, leadership and anti-bullying. These initiatives are important to her as a leader, and she is pleased she was able to be a part of the conversation.

When Carver isn’t busy with school, she holds a part-time job and loves to cook. She can also be found practicing for her sports, as she knows the importance of putting in the work.

Carver has big plans for after high school. Her teachers and loved ones will be cheering her on.

“I am planning on going to Mizzou,” she shared.

Congratulations to Kirstyn for this recognition by Highland High School and Platinum Transportation!
