Registration is open through Wednesday, April 1, with a $55 fee for residents and $60 for non-residents. A $10 late fee will apply beginning April 1, and late registrants may be placed on a waiting list depending on team availability.
Spring soccer tentative schedule includes an 8-week season plus optional training opportunities. Practices will be scheduled by volunteer coaches, starting approximately 2–3 weeks before the first games.
“I would love to see this community come together and get the youth involved in their communities recreational programs,” said Sabrina Kalips, Alton Recreation Supervisor. “We are offering a couple different trainings including one with the SIUe Men’s Soccer team. It is a great opportunity to work on your skills with college athletes, which is included in your registration.”
Elite FT Training Camp
Elite FT, a local soccer training company, will partner with Alton Parks and Recreation to offer an exclusive training camp for registered spring soccer participants. This optional session will be held on Saturday, March 28, for an additional $10 per participant. More details, including the time, will be released soon.
SIUE Men’s Soccer Training Session
The Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville (SIUE) Men’s Soccer team will return to Alton for another specialized training session following a successful clinic in spring 2025. This free training will take place on Saturday, April 11, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and is open to all participants registered for Alton Parks and Recreation Spring soccer.
