On Friday, March 13, 2026, the chamber will host their annual Glo Bingo fundraiser at the Tri-Township Activity Center in Troy. Proceeds go back to the chamber to help them coordinate events and networking activities for members and the community. Mark VanZeyl, chamber ambassador, explained that the event’s goal is to bring people together.

“That’s exactly what the genesis was behind the Glo Bingo night, to show off our chamber members to the community. That’s what the chamber is about,” VanZeyl said.

Attendees must be over age 21. Tickets are going fast. You can purchase tickets ahead of time for $30 for individuals or $200 for a table of eight. Individual tickets cost $40 at the door.

Emily Gretak with the chamber added that the Glo Bingo will have several games and drawings in addition to the bingo itself. She noted that each bingo round has a major prize and a prize sponsor.

“You can turn Friday the 13th into your lucky night at the chamber Glo Bingo,” she joked.

There are still a few spots left for sponsorships. Gretak and VanZeyl thanked Troy Car Care, Edward Jones Financial Advisor: Linda S. Manley, Tri-Township Public Library District, and State Farm Agent Mike Halloran for their support as top event sponsors.

VanZeyl emphasized that you don’t have to be a chamber member to participate in the Glo Bingo fundraiser, nor do you need to hail from Troy, Maryville, St. Jacob or Marine to be a chamber member. In fact, the chamber loves inviting people from across the region to be a part of their events. VanZeyl believes chamber membership is beneficial no matter where you or your business is located.

“It’s that top-down leadership from [Executive Director] Dawn Mushill down to the Board down to the ambassadors and making it a welcoming chamber,” he explained. “We’re a chamber without borders. Even though we have Troy, Maryville, St. Jacob and Marine as our four towns, we have plenty of other members that are outside of those four towns. I’m personally outside in Maryland Heights, but at the same time, I’m a proud member that wants to bring in more members to show them how great of a community it is.”

Gretak echoed VanZeyl, adding that the chamber is successful because of the community it represents. She is thankful for the chamber members and leadership who participate and work hard to make the chamber into the success it is.

“We wouldn't be what we are without our members,” she said. “We have an absolutely wonderful team this year, nine Board members, 16 ambassadors, and almost 400-plus members who always want to be involved, support the community, support the chamber, and we are just so appreciative of that.”
