For his success, PJ Walton is a Student of the Month for Althoff Catholic High School.
Walton, a senior, has been wrestling for six years. This is his first year on the wrestling team at Althoff, and he has already made a big impact as an impressive student athlete. It takes a lot of hard work to balance academics and athletics, but Walton makes this look easy.
He is a member of the National Honor Society, which requires high grades and many hours of community service. Walton cares about his studies and works hard in everything he does. He is also a member of Beta Club.
Through wrestling, Walton has been named a State Wrestling Champ two times. He is the 2A - IHSA Technical Fall Record Holder. These accomplishments are impressive, and they have set Walton up for his future as a collegiate wrestler.
When he isn’t busy with school or his sport, Walton can be found playing basketball, gaming, or binge-watching anime. He knows exactly what he plans to do after graduation, and his teachers and loved ones can’t wait to see his accomplishments.
“[I plan to] wrestle in college and study law,” he shared.
Congratulations to PJ for this recognition from Althoff Catholic High School!
