SWANSEA - KinderCare Learning Center has officially opened its new location in Swansea, and leaders emphasize that they are much more than a daycare.

As an early learning center, KinderCare offers childcare and educational programs for infants, toddlers and preschool-age children. Swansea’s Center Director, Tori Siron, explained that the center aims to provide support to the whole family while educating kids and giving them opportunities to grow.

“We love welcoming all the new families. We love providing the quality,” she said. “Our KinderCare way is very much to ensure that every child has what they need to grow and to learn, and that families are getting all that they need as well.”

With locations in Edwardsville, Kirkwood and South County, KinderCare is eager to open its newest spot in Swansea. Siron noted that the Swansea area is growing, and these families need childcare and education options for their kids.

Swansea Mayor Jeff Parker echoed Siron, adding that KinderCare is a place of mentorship for young children. He believes it’s a great addition to the Village of Swansea, providing a place where families can trust that their children are receiving top-notch education and care.

“You’re not really just a place for babysitting. You’ve got staff to teach and mentor these kids on through life, and that’s outstanding,” he said. “It creates a wonderful environment for the kids. Everything is positive, and we’re working hard to be everything that we can be. It’s a great, positive thing to come to the Village of Swansea.”

Every day, children at KinderCare enjoy learning through play, which is the base of the KinderCare curriculum. Kids spend a lot of time outside and enjoy nutritious snacks and lunches before naptime. Siron noted that their goal is to make sure “everybody feels comfortable and happy throughout the day while they’re still hitting their milestones.”

Natalie Jablonski, a Swansea trustee, expressed her appreciation for KinderCare and their decision to locate in Swansea. She knows the Swansea team will go above and beyond for the kids, and she can’t wait to see these young residents grow. She believes KinderCare will foster their potential and provide them with a safe environment where they can grow and learn.

“To watch the enthusiasm with which your team came and transformed this space into a place for our children, it’s just really wonderful,” Jablonski said. “As someone who’s raised two great kids, I know how important it is, when you have children, to turn over that responsibility to someone you trust. To have someone like that here in our Village of Swansea, raising the youth so that they someday serve as leaders in our community, makes me very proud.”

Swansea KinderCare is currently enrolling for their spring and summer programs. They hope to welcome many local families to their organization. Siron and her team look forward to sharing their space with kids and giving them these opportunities.
