The Flyers led 41-26 at halftime, then outscored the Crimsons 41-24 in the second half to pull away.
Alex Johnson led East St. Louis with 30 points, and Jamison White added 25. Philip Jones scored nine points, Terri'yon Webster had seven, Jamir Allen scored six, Rashaan Watson had three and Tyrik Barnes had two.
East St. Louis improved to 29-4 and will face Centralia in the final Friday at 7 p.m. Jacksonville’s season ended at 23-9.
In the second semifinal of the Mahomet-Seymour sectional, Normal University beat Springfield 64-54 on Wednesday to advance to the Sweet Sixteen final Friday at 7 p.m. against Decatur MacArthur. Normal University improved to 27-6, and Springfield finished its season at 21-13.
