ALTON - The Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau will continue as title sponsor of the 2026 Alton Illinois Junior Championship presented by UHY, the American Junior Golf Association announced, bringing the tournament back June 8-11, 2026, to Spencer T. Olin Golf Course in Alton, Illinois.
The event will be hosted for a second consecutive year at Spencer T. Olin, marking the tournament’s 13th year and the third overall time the course has served as the host venue, according to the AJGA. The AJGA said the partnership reflects a commitment to supporting elite junior golf while showcasing the Alton region as a destination for competitive youth sports.

“We’re grateful for our continued partnership with the Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau and excited to bring the Alton Illinois Junior Championship presented by UHY back to Spencer T. Olin Golf Course,” said Ryan Flanagan, senior regional director for the Midwest at the AJGA. “This tournament showcases exceptional junior golf talent from around the world and brings meaningful benefits to the Alton community, supporting local tourism and helping elevate the region as a premier destination for youth sports.”
Mary Campbell, general manager and sales manager at Spencer T. Olin Golf Course, said the course was “honored to welcome the AJGA back” for a second straight year.
“Hosting this event is a point of pride for our entire team,” Campbell said. “The opportunity to support outstanding junior golfers while showcasing our facility and the Alton community makes this partnership truly special.”
Cory Jobe, president and CEO of the Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau, said the tournament will put the community in the spotlight.

The AJGA described the tournament as known for showcasing rising talent, adding that it has long featured juniors who go on to succeed in college and beyond.
