“Austin McClusky, his fiancée, and their three children are facing an unimaginable challenge after a devastating house fire in Bunker Hill, Illinois, on March 6th,” Dailey said in comments on the fundraiser. “In just a matter of minutes, they lost their home, all of their clothing, furniture, and so many irreplaceable personal items.”
Dailey said the family made it out safely but is now “left to start over from nothing.”
“The funds raised here will go directly toward helping Austin and his family secure temporary housing and replace the essentials they need to begin rebuilding their lives,” Dailey said. “Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference as they work to recover from this tragedy.”
Dailey asked those who can consider supporting the family “during this difficult time,” writing that “your kindness and generosity will bring hope and relief as they take the first steps toward a new beginning.”
