Don't miss our top stories and need-to-know news everyday in your inbox.
For his hard work, Logan Farmer is a College Prep Station Student of the Month for O’Fallon Township High School.
Farmer, a senior, has been a part of the school’s marching band since his freshman year. He currently serves as the drum major for the band. He has also participated in the wind ensemble and jazz band.
He plays a significant part in the school’s music program. He practices constantly so he is always prepared to perform, and he cares deeply about music and sharing it with others. In fact, Farmer spends most of his free time writing his own music, which is an impressive accomplishment.
Outside of school, Farmer is a member of a local jazz combo. He also participates in Boy Scouts and was recently recognized as an Eagle Scout.
When he isn’t busy with his extracurriculars or music, Farmer can be found watching movies or lifting weights. He is a devout follower of Jesus Christ and studies his Bible often.
He has big plans for the future, and his teachers and loved ones can’t wait to see him succeed.
“I want to attend a four-year university and become a music teacher, eventually teaching at a college level,” he shared.
Congratulations to Logan for this recognition from College Prep Station and O’Fallon Township High School!
