Glenn, a senior, maintains a 3.614 CPA and serves as an office worker in the school’s Attendance Center during the first hour each day. The club said she is “known for being extremely helpful and dependable while assisting staff and students.”
“Emma's willingness to help others, lead by example, and represent her school with integrity makes her a deserving recipient of Rotary's Service Above Self recognition,” the club said.
Reed, also a senior, transferred to East Alton-Wood River High School during his junior year and has become “a respected leader,” according to the club. A member of the Cross Country and Track & Field teams, Reed specializes in the 400- and 800-meter runs. The club said he “leads his teammates through his dedication, work ethic, and positive example,” adding that he “carries himself with class and integrity throughout the school day” and is known for “genuine kindness toward both students and staff.”
