HIGHLAND - Donnie Miller is a natural leader.
For his accomplishments, Donnie Miller is a Platinum Transportation Student of the Month for Highland High School.
Miller, a senior, loves to run and participates on the cross country and track and field teams. He was part of the first-ever Highland cross country sectional win in 2025. During indoor track that same year, he participated in the eighth place state finish in the 4x800 2A.
Miller serves on the Student Council, a role in which he represents and advocates for his peers. He has been a Student Ambassador for two years and a member of the Future Farmers of America organization since he was a freshman.
He was recently inducted into the National Honor Society, which requires high grades and many hours of community service. He works hard to give back while balancing all of his extracurriculars and sports.
In his limited free time, Miller works part-time and hangs out with his friends. He knows exactly what he plans to do after high school, and his teachers and loved ones can’t wait to see him succeed.
“I plan on attending Coe College to major in chemistry and minor in secondary education to become a high school chemistry teacher,” he shared.
Congratulations to Donnie for this recognition by Highland High School and Platinum Transportation!
