Don't miss our top stories and need-to-know news everyday in your inbox.
For her success, Olivia Schneider is a Student of the Month for Southwestern High School.
Schneider, a senior, has danced competitively for 13 years. It takes a lot of dedication and skill to be so committed to a sport, but Schneider balances this with grace.
She also manages to maintain an impressive GPA over 3.5, and she has been included on the high honor roll. Her academics are as important to her as her sport.
She was recently inducted into the National Honor Society, which requires high grades and many hours of community service. Schneider regularly goes above and beyond to give back.
When she isn’t busy with school or dance, Schneider can be found babysitting or working at her part-time job. She also enjoys shopping and spending time with her loved ones.
She has big plans for after high school, and her teachers and loved ones can’t wait to see her succeed.
“[I plan to] attend SIUE to get my master’s degree in accounting and then get my CPA license,” she shared.
Congratulations to Olivia for this recognition from Southwestern High School!
