MELHS' Doyle and Marquette's Boatman are Double Winners: CM Girls Dominate Outdoor Track Invite

Marquette's Karly Davenport and Carrollton's Chloe McAdams also had big days in their events.

BETHALTO - Civic Memorial's girls track and field team replicated the Eagles boys' effort on Tuesday, 129.5 points, compared to Marquette's 85.5 points. Metro East Lutheran had 65 points, Carrollton tallied 58 points, and Madison had 26 points.

MELHS standout Lucy Doyle was a double winner in the 1,600 (6:09.9) and the 3,200 (12:58.0); Eliza Boatman of Marquette was also a double winner in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.4 and long jump (4.54 meters). Chloe McAdams of Carrollton won the discus and placed second in the shot put, and Karly Davenport of Marquette had a standout performance as she won the 100 meters and was second in the 200 and the triple jump.
