EDWARDSVILLE - David Lipham is a smiling face at Edwardsville High School.

For his hard work, David Lipham is a Student of the Month for Edwardsville High School.
Lipham, a senior, has always made an impact on his school community by bringing a positive attitude to every day. He exemplifies kindness and makes an effort to ensure other students feel respected, seen and valued.
He is part of an apprenticeship program through ACT, which requires hands-on work every weekday at the site. It takes a lot of dedication to balance schoolwork with an apprenticeship, but Lipham makes this look easy. He puts in plenty of effort behind the scenes to make sure his work is complete and his grades stay high.
Lipham is no stranger to hard work, as he recently received an award that recognized his efforts when he was working at Goodwill in the community. His ability to manage community-focused work and school is an impressive balance, but he does this gracefully.
In his free time, Lipham enjoys listening to music, playing Xbox, and working out. He often travels with his family, which he plans to do more of this summer.
He knows exactly what he hopes to do after graduation. His teachers and loved ones can’t wait to see him succeed.
“I hope to get hired on at ACT full time after my apprenticeship is over in August,” he shared.
Congratulations to David for this recognition by Edwardsville High School!
