EDWARDSVILLE — Edwardsville’s powerful girls softball squad handed Collinsville another tough lesson Tuesday, beating the Kahoks 15-0 on March 31, 2026, in Edwardsville as Collinsville’s coaching staff looked to use matchups like this to help the team gain experience and finish the season stronger.
Collinsville managed three hits in the loss, with Faith Fairchild, Makenna Trice, and Audrey Lauenstein accounting for the Kahoks’ offense.

Aubrey Bordoni took the loss in the circle for Collinsville, pitching 1 2/3 innings and allowing nine runs, six earned, on two hits. She walked three and struck out one.
Payton Smith worked the final 1 1/3 innings, giving up six runs, two earned, on two hits. She walked five and struck out one.
The loss dropped Collinsville to 2-8. The Kahoks are set to begin a three-game homestand against Alton, then host O’Fallon next Tuesday and East St. Louis on April 9. All three games are scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.
