Alton’s Rayna Raglin Dominates 100 and 200 Meter Races in Belleville

BELLEVILLE — Rayna Raglin delivered another standout performance for the Alton Redbirds on Friday, April 3, 2026, turning in a personal-best time in the 100 meters and one of the fastest 200-meter marks in Illinois girls history at the Lady Maroons Invite at Belleville West High School.

Raglin ran 11.47 to win the 100, edging Belleville East’s Cassidy Willis (11.82) and Hannah Safranek of Normal (11.92). She followed with a 23.8 in the 200, listed as the third-fastest all-time mark in Illinois girls history. Raglin also placed third in the 400 in 58.70.

Alton also received scoring efforts from Leah Hubbard, who was fifth in the long jump at 5.0 meters, and Olivia Williams, who was sixth in the high jump at 1.48 meters.

The Redbirds finished 11th in the team standings of the Lady Maroons Invite with 38 points.
