Garrett Pryor.HIGHLAND - Garrett Pryor is a committed student.

Pryor, a senior, is a member of Spanish Club and marching band. He loves playing his instrument and collaborating with his fellow band members to make music and put on a great show.

But his real passion is bowling. Pryor has bowled competitively since his freshman year and has bowled a 300 game. This is a major accomplishment, and Pryor is pleased with his achievement. He continues to push himself and hopes to repeat this game in the future.

When he’s not busy with school or his extracurriculars, Pryor spends time volunteering with One Ribbon United. This nonprofit helps families affected by childhood cancer. Giving back is important to Pryor, and he does what he can to help others.

In his free time, he hangs out with his friends. He has big plans for life after graduation, and his teachers and loved ones will be cheering him on.

“[I plan to] bowl at McKendree University,” he shared. “I want to thank my family and teachers for getting me to where I am academically.”

Congratulations to Garrett for this recognition by Highland High School and Platinum Transportation!
