Afternoon storms continue, then taper off toward evening as the wind shifts to the southwest around 9 to 14 mph, with gusts up to 28 mph. Rain chances stay very high through the day, but the worst of the weather should start easing late.

Evening remains warm and unsettled with another round of heavy thunderstorms possible before rain becomes more steady. Overnight, temperatures fall to a low of 63 with lingering showers and storms possible early, then improving late.

The allergy index shows tree pollen at very high levels, while grass and mold stay low. Air quality is good.

Thursday turns warmer and brighter, with a high of 83 and a low of 57. A morning shower is possible, but the day should trend mostly cloudy to partly sunny and then turn mainly clear at night.
